Then visit the City Museum is located in the Palacio de Nájera. In it we see several rooms that show the cultural significance of the city, as well as experience a significant building of civil architecture of the Baroque.

Later we visit the upper town with an overview:

  • Plaza del Portichuelo
  • Mirador de la Almenillas (where we see the most impressive sights of the city)
  • Arco de los Gigantes (It was built in the year 1585. Its design is due to the architect Francisco de Azurriola. This building has a double interest for the city, in its monumental and historic significance.)
  • Roman Baths (The Baths which are located at the foot of the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria Maggiore, a large gap in the ground, were discovered by chance in the summer of 1988)
  • Royal Collegiate of Santa Maria la Mayor (The importance of this building is to be the first to be conceived in the Renaissance style in Andalusia. It really is an exceptional work by their proportions and quality of its design)
  • Alcazaba (Of all the walled Medina Islamic distinguished two areas more or less distinct: the Alcazaba, which was around the crown of the hill, and a second ring, down from the Puerta de la Villa, continue to the Water Postigo Gate and Malaga, to re-unite with the White Tower.)

Once the historic visit, we will continue towards the town of Mollina (approximately 45 minutes) where we visit one of the largest cooperatives throughout Europe, is the cooperative Virgen de la Oliva, you can visit the facilities where it produces wine, oil and derivatives as well as the adjacent farms.
